About Me

About Me

I’m Ermal Kabashi, a self-taught graphic designer from Kosovo and the founder of Studio 30. Launching this studio and this site wasn’t just about showcasing work—it was about deciding I was done holding myself back. Done doubting whether I was good enough, done worrying about what others might think, done waiting for the perfect moment that never comes.

My journey into design started during the pandemic. Lockdowns, isolation, restrictions—everything felt out of control. I needed something that was entirely mine, something where I could express myself freely and think clearly without boundaries. That’s when I picked up graphic design. Not from a classroom or a formal program, but from necessity. From wanting to create space where I could breathe. Lockdowns, restrictions, endless uncertainty… I needed something that was entirely mine. Graphic design became that space where I could think clearly, express what mattered, and create without asking permission.

That’s still how I work today. I believe in breaking the rules when they don’t serve the message. I believe in minimalism that speaks louder than clutter. And I believe that the best design happens when you stop waiting for everything to be perfect and just start.

What I Do

I work with small businesses, startups, and anyone brave enough to put their ideas into the world. My main focus is logo design and branding—helping you build an identity that actually reflects who you are, not what you think you should be. I also take on rebranding projects when it’s time for a fresh direction, and specific design work like t-shirts or accessories when the project calls for it.

But here’s what makes my approach different: I offer Graphic Design Brainstorm Sessions for people who feel stuck. Maybe you’re an aspiring designer who doubts your skills. Maybe you’re a business owner who knows what you want but doesn’t know how to get there. These sessions aren’t just about design ideas—they’re about clearing the mental blocks that keep you from creating. Because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to hold yourself back, to question if you’re good enough, to hesitate before hitting publish.

How I Work

I’m persistent with my ideas, but I never force them on you. Everything I do involves collaboration, discussion, and honest conversation. I’ll push back when I think something isn’t working, and I’ll always explain why. But at the end of the day, this is your brand, your vision. My job is to help you see it clearly and bring it to life in a way that feels right.

I call myself a bit of a rebel—not in a loud, chaotic way, but in how I think. I don’t follow trends just because everyone else is. I don’t design to please algorithms. I design to communicate, to connect, to make things that matter.

If you’re ready to stop overthinking and start creating, let’s talk.
